Students receive recognition at THS’s annual National Honors Society Induction

On Thursday March 1st, 2018 the Terryville High School chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 21 new members. The vice principal, Mr. Vigliotti, gave words of encouragement to the new inductees before each of the NHS officers gave speeches detailing the four pillars of National Honor Society. Walk Out Leads to Discussion and Action

  “We are tired of being ignored,” says Emma Gonzalez, newfound activist and victim of Parkland high school shooting. The nationwide school ‘walkouts’ that occurred in the wake of the Parkland murders were created by students and gained attention from the media. On March 15th, the THS Drama Club opened curtains on the play, Nevermore: The Imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe.
