2020 marks the 99th year since the formation of National Honor Society (NHS), an organization made up of hundreds of chapters from different high schools across the United States. Like many who first heard the news about the flames spreading across Australia, Mrs. Hurd, devastated about the consequences of this tragedy, frantically strove to find a way to raise money for the country.
