Spring Sports Season Gets Green Light from CIAC

Recent updates on winter and spring sports: According to the CIAC, “[t]he CIAC is in the process of developing COVID mitigating plans for all spring sports, which will begin on March 27, with the first contest date on April 10. The final date for regular season games to count toward the state tournament will be May 27. National Honor Society Induction Not Dampened by Pandemic

The Terryville High School chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 11 new members on Friday, March 5, 2021. Although the ceremony was different than usual, the existing members ensured that the inductees and their accomplishments were celebrated. New Advisor Breathes in New Life to NHS

2020 marks the 99th year since the formation of National Honor Society (NHS), an organization made up of hundreds of chapters from different high schools across the United States. Members are chosen to join based on their personal academic achievement as well as their involvement in and outside of their community. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland: Fall ’18 Play in Review

This past November, the THS Drama Club put on their production of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. The production was considered a great success for both cast and crew. Baseball Ending the season 7-13, the baseball team struggled at first; but throughout the season, they worked hard to improve, especially as the many younger players adjusted to the varsity level.
